Jeezus...... initial deployment and THEN a 24 month extension???? How the hell does the Military expect their soldiers to be fathers and husbands?

Fawkin' hell, spread the wealth for petesakes. What's the justification for a 24 month extension?

We got newly enlisted's sitting around on delayed ship out orders and they keep sending vets back over...... for longer and longer deployments.

Insanity.

i have road and trail hazard warranty through discount tire
Read your warranty, most 3rd party warranties dont care. Most ins tore warranties want you to be able to show consistent rotations and such to prove you took care of the tires.

Read through it and see whats up. :rtm:

The military owns your ass, and they mostly do not care about families , since they didn't issue them in boot camp

That sucks Ira, I was already voting Ron Paul in the fall to get your ass home... guess I'll have to vote twice!

Oh yeah, being National Guard everytime I got mobilized there was 6mos of train up followed by an actual year of deployment. And both times there was still talk of another 6mos extension afterwards. The unit that replaced us the second time was told right off the bat no less than 18mos in country.

well, got my gears and aussie installed in my hp30, gonna swap her in tomorrow! trussed, gusseted, new axle ujoints, new unit bearings, new ball joints, pluss putting on the long arms! then to do the gear and aussie install in the 8.8.. and ill be ready for the weekend run!!! :scared:

drained stomper's gas tanks last night, cleaned the main out, flushed the system with carb cleaner, re-installed everything.... and the battery died. Perhaps it'll fire up tonight...

Sucks the balancing didn't solve your issue, but I kind of figured as much.

Does the mini-XJ get death wobble too? :D

Yeah. Kinda sucks.
I didn't experience death wobble on the test drive. didn't even get to 45 to 55 where dw occurs.
It just felt really sketchy. Like it wanted to turn back and forth when I was driving straight. I don't know wtf to do or what to think.

Mini jeep doesn't get death wobble.
It's a good little jeep. The worst that's happened to the mini is a broken driveshaft. 10$ fix!

have you had it aligned? did you get a print out with all the numbers on i t?

Jeff (planefixer) and I got it aligned pretty damn close to where it should be. I do need to take it to Nick (gm4x4lover) at Big O and he said he would align it for me.

Right now it will sit until I can have someone with higher knowledge of death wobble come take a look at it before I do anything. I'm going to try and take a video of the issue I am trying to resolve before I get it aligned.

Basically when you grab the bumper and push side to side it seems loose and the is a wierd clunking sound that we can not determine exactly where it is coming from. Almost sounds like it's coming from the upper drivers side fender but everything is tight and nothing seems to be moving or clunking.
Like I said I will try to get a video of what I am talking about.

Cody - What you're describing sounds like both a caster and/or toe issue to me, with the wandering, let Nick put it on the rack and see what he sees. The side to side clunk sounds like a trac-bar bolt/bushing issue, but I'm sure you and Jeff would have seen that...
