bite your tongue grin or else...
Small price for a full life.Just wait until you add a wife and kid into the equation. Then you'll really be broke.
Ya I'll pass on the wife and kids for now. Lol.
Permanent death wobble repair coming soon
Permanent death wobble repair coming soon
I would love to know what it is. I feel I have a bit of the Death Wobble ghost still in my rig. Broke my track bar this summer and the replacement just hasn't been the same (and my XJ was stolen almost 2 years ago and found. Hasn't driven the same since. I feel there is something else broken or damaged that my mechanic can't find).
yup, i still get a hint of DW with my hydro assist
Mine is really random, but I can always tell when it about to happen. I can drive it for weeks and not a problem....then out of the blue it will act up several times in one drive cycle.I would love to know what it is. Is that full hydro or hydro assist?
Either way, don't 100% count on that fixing things.
This. I have the opportunity to fix unimaginable DW on a couple different cherokees with a ram. One was so bad you could not drive it over 25-30 mph without it happening. After the ram install.. 75 mph on the highway with nary a hint of DW.Really, my setup got rid of any hint I had..... the ram acts like a stabilizer :twak:
I need to off set my heims On my tie rod
I still get a bit of roll with the ram
Assist, and by rights, it should fix it 100%, if all else is correct.
An assist ram holds the cross tie rod rock solid so DW can't start. Unlike the OEM damper that is supposed to absorb the harmonics that allow DW to mature, there is no give in a ram. . . If you are still getting DW, then you have more problems aside from the steering.
I guess I am confused. If you require a ram to fix death wobble you aren't fixing shit. You are covering it up with the ram. No different than people with dual dampners.
If it can't cruise down road with no dampner or ram without issue you have a problem. Tossing one of those on does not fix the problem.
