We made it home!

And Glenn I think we met before the crawl '02. I sold you a 5.0 engine & AOD transmission along with the trailer it was on in November '01 I believe.

Haha I think I remember you pimpin' a big Buick Roadmaster wagon when we met up to follow you back to your shop!

Damn I forgot about all that. Yea I hated that piece of shit. Future X talked me into it. Cannot wait to call her my X. party1:

Yeah that was a frightening trip for us. I remember the trailer gate's latch broke and it fell backward to the highway and we didn't realize it because it was dark. Some folks rolled up next to us and were honking the horn and pointing. :looser:

I also remember there being a set of wheels & tires on there because I was thanking my lucky stars that I'd decided to put an extra strap on there to hold them down. They were right up against that gate and I'm sure they'd have been all over the highway if they hadn't been strapped down! I think I sold those to you, too.

Yea still have that trailer. They didn't take it when they took my other one but yet it wasn't even locked. I have actually got a lot of use out of that beat up old thing. I need to replace the axle on it.

Dang I can't believe you still have that old thing. Am I remembering correctly you said someone borrowed it to haul a load of sod and the axle broke?

Yea the I put a new one in for like $50. Then I tried to put the carcas of an 80's Bronco on it. All that was there was the body, frame, rear 9" and the T18 I sold you that I sure wish I hadn't done. That bent the spindle. I thought the 2K pound axle could handle it. Oh well. So now it has a slight lean to the tires. Some day I'll actually fix it but it rolls and works so it stays. :)
