It looks like you installed one of the thin spacers above the skid on the frame end. Why? I havent installed my Warn skid yet but was wondering why they included the thin spacers. I know the thick one was probably for 242 users.
I put it on there just to level it out a bit. When I bolted the front on it sat a bit funny. The rear of the frame mount hit and there was still a 3/8" gap at the front. Rather than pulling it into place with the bolts and stressing it I just split the difference and used one of the solid spacers. I don't know if that's the intention, but that's how it fit best. The instructions left a bit to be desired. They basically said "bolt it in using the supplied bolts, use an 11/32 drill bit for the holes."
No Idea, I think they just included a bit of an assortment. I just used what made it fit best. The only mention of the spacers was to use the long self tapping bolt if you used the 1" spacer. No mention of the smaller solid metal ones.
