Engine Control Module for a 2000 XJ.

stick or auto?

I'm going to be parting out a 97' xj in the next week or so. Not sure if the control module is compatible but if you want me to let you know when I begin selling stuff off I can.

Thanks for the offer but I need a 2000.

Unfortunately, much of the '97's electronics are exclusive to that model year.

ECU
TCU
Gauge cluster
TPS
Transmission (reluctor is exclusive, but reluctors can be swapped out)
Ignition switch in the column
Pick up coil in distributor
Ignition coil

Thanks for looking guys!! I guess I am screwed..... for the time being.

Harris has one but it is around a hundred bucks.

Not that anyone really care but the beast is up and running again.... finally! After buying a used ECM and having the same problem I went through everything yet again and this time I found a fuse that had blown that I somehow missed when I checked everything the first few times.......

Those are "expensive" fuses. I've bought a couple of those in my time with these damn XJ's.....
