I have a 2000 xj 4.0 aw4. The ABS sensors were cut years ago when I first started a wheel in this thing. Now I'm to the point to where I have to replace all of the brake lines but I was hoping to make it easier on myself just cut out the ABS module. I realized that it is the proportional valve for everything but at the same time I'm also upgrading to rear disc. I have the majority of the stuff, my question is is it worth it to plumb the ABS module out of it or do I have to leave it in there. It's a off-road toy but I'm kind of converting it to an overlanding rig also My girlfriend and I like camping.

It's a lot easier just to leave it, it won't effect your conversion. I'd be more concerned about the "turdy-five"!

Unless you changed your axle it is a D35 for ABS models !!! The C8.25 never was available for ABS.

OP, did this get figured out?

On my 92, I completely bypassed the ABS module. I did not want anything to do with it and just plumbed new brake lines bypassing it with no issues encountered at all.

That is my plan for my 01, that is when there's nothing on either jeep that needs attention. So it'll likely never get done.
