I'm trying to collect a set of 242 heads for research into updating my book, and I'm trying to cast my net fairly widely.
If anyone has a #7120, #0630, or #0331 head lying about that I could come get (I'd prefer not to ship, even if it IS deductible...) I'd appreciate it. I don't care if it's cracked or warped, since I'm going to section the thing with a bandsaw anyhow...
I'd try crawling junkyards, but the 'yards around here, honestly, SUCK at Jeep stuff, and they're entirely too proud of their parts. So, I'm checking here - and at Pirate, and a Strokers, and...
I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance for the things (I picked up the #2585 I've got from a fireman in Emeryville, and I've driven to Crash's just to get a transmission...) so we can talk about it.
I need:
#7120 (this one is probably going to be tough...)
#0630
#0331
#whatever was used to the end of production.
As I'd said, they're eventually going to go through a bandsaw, so I don't care if they're cracked or warped. One or two cylinders will be sectioned for analysis, and the rest divided for porting experiments...
