XJOFFROAD and I have been discussing with one another on doing a run together, December 10th (this coming Thursday) is the day we chose. We're thinking meeting at Walker around 11PM, him and I will be leaving Everett around 10pm. Both of us have pretty prepared rigs, so I have a feeling we'll be doing a quick run of pretty much everything at Walker, time/conditions permitting.

REQUIREMENTS (If you don't meet these and still want to go, PM me):
-Decent tread MT tires 31" or bigger
-At least one TAD (Traction aid device, such as a locker or LSD...lockers preffered)
-GOOD tow points front and rear
-A prepared rig/driver

Anyone who wants to ride along, simply post and ask. I'm only familiar with Walker (two runs there) and XJOFFROAD hasn't been, so we'll have a map in hand and be exploring, so if anyone knows Walker well it would be nice if they could chime in or join us.

did you mean AM or is this a night run??:dunno::dunno:

Scott,
I sent you a PM back with the info you requested.

There is a small chance that I might be able to make this run with you guys, but I won't be in my Jeep (totally depends on how this week at work goes). Is there a chance there is room for me to ride shotgun with one of you?

Michael that would be awesome if you could join us!

At the moment I have my seat reserved for someone...but if she decides to back out, you're more than welcome to hop in my rig! I'll let you know closer to the actual run date. Otherwise, XJOFFROAD, watcha got?

~Scott

P.S. XJOFFROAD, what's your real name again? Sorry to say I've forgotten it since we last met.

I do have a co pilot with me sorry. My name is Kalin (kay-lynn) parents were drunk one night and found my name on a movie (I'm dead serious).

Hope you guys have a blast!! Wish I could run with ya'll, but the rig isnt quite up to par yet and moving into the new house. Have fun!!

Weak. What's wrong with the rig? Maybe I can stop by and we can fix it up!

I took the day off work and will meet you guys up at Walker at 11. I'm looking forward to meeting you and REALLY looking forward to hitting the trail, it's been a while.

2Extreme- It will just be me so you welcome to ride shotgun.

Sick. Glad we'll have another rig to join us, and with any luck sounds like Michael might be able to hitch a ride with you too! Good to know someone who knows the trails will probably be with us.

Just a remind guys, this is a shake-down run for me. So I apologize in advance if we discover something negative about my rig on the trails, but rest assured I'm going over everything prior to the trip.

Rich,
I really appreciate the offer. Turns out I won't be able to make it.

I hope you guys enjoy the day and safe returns.

shake down runs always turn out just fine. Nothing to worry about!

No worries. I'm just looking forward to having some fun. I'll be in the "I could be at work right now :)" mindset. It's too bad Michael can't make it, he's a good trail leader. I've been up there 3-4 times and it should come back quickly, with a map. See you both at 11.

For sure.

Just finished my SYE. Going to head down to NWDriveline to make sure they like it (it's OK) then just check the nuts and bolts on the longarms.

Twas a fun day. We ended up meeting some Yota guys, and they joined the convoy for a little bit. Kalin's spacers had some issues (I'll let him elaborate). There was a good amount of ice that made some spots interesting, hopefully video of that will be posted soon. Otherwise, those two pics are the only decent ones I got all day. Michael, I took some pics of various spots that I thought might interest you for trail maintenance. I picked up probably half a black bag in garbage, and had I had a bigger bag I would have picked up more (some spots had a bunch of trash on the side of the main gravel road)...I'm thinking a more thorough clean up of the trash in the next month would be good.

As a side note, the new rig worked well and escaped with little damage. I used my rear bumper a few times, hit the metal just before the hatch, and scratched a little bit of the rocker but otherwise it was just paint scratches from tree branches.
