Vendor give aways

Just curious, is there a reason that there hasn't been a vendor give away since Dec of 2006? I always looked forward to those, and it's been a long time since one has been done.

I know it's not much, but I'm not a big guy... I did offer free shipping through the month of June - mainly because I hadn't seen any traffic in there for a while, either.

It's the closest thing to a "giveaway" I can manage at the moment, and it was the best place I could find to put it...

You don't have to be a vendor... Take it upon yourself, buy something "useful" and give it away to the Members! Maybe a Vendor would give you a break on an item if you tell them what you are gonna do with it.

I did it once with a Miller Welding student training package ($25 guide books & calculator set) Got pretty decent feedback IIRC, and made me feel good about giving back to these folks who are generally willing to help others with their XJ/MJ dilemmas...
