I do not know what version you are reading or if you listed the whole scripture. However, looking at the scriptural reference you have just put up in the New King James Version 20: Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens." 21: So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, (now if you are trying to correlate this to evolution, I think the last part which the water abounded, in other words which the water sustains as in fish, whales, sea rays etc... not birds because God goes onto talk about birds, here you go listen), and every winged bird according to its kind. (God created sea creatures on the same day as birds so if evolution happens in a 24 hour time period than watch out tomorrow you could be a slug out on a trail if you stay on the trails to long. I get the 24 hour time period from the first day of creation Gen. 1: 3: Then God said let their be light"; and there was light. 4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5: God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. Just like we have a 24 hour day today, Morning and night.) BACK to the rest of Gen. 1: 21-24 And God saw that it was good. 22: And God blessed them, saying, " Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23: So the evning and the morning (24 hour period) were the fifth day. Now verses 24-28 talk about how on the 6th day God created man, cattle, monkeys and yes dinosaurs ( you do not find dinosaur in the Bible because the word dinosaur was coined in 1842 way after the Greek and Hebrew texts, however the hebrew texts use the tan, tannin and tannoth which more rightly translates into english dragon or behemoth.) and every land dwelling animals and yes no evolution just creations. Oh yes Adam and Eve were created on this 6th day, I know they are not talked about until chapter 2. This reason is because chapter 1 is talking about all of creation and does not get individual. However, God's most important creation was Adam and Eve and that is why they are in the very next chapter and the rest of creation is found in the rest of Gods Word. I hope that answers your question. I understand it is hard to understand, when I was in the Army I read Genesis through Deuteronmy and was like what? Until I came to the understanding 4 years later that I have sinned and the realized best evidence for the existence of God was His beautiful creation and how set apart we are from everything else. When I realized this I than realized that my sin would equal death and I needed a Savior and that Jesus was that Savior, I put my Faith in Him alone. Than I was able to pick up the Bible and read it ad understand it and the more i read the more clear it was and the stronger my Faith became. I than started to see changes in my life, I was more in tune to my conscience, I started being more compassionate and worrying less and less about what people thought and more about what God thought about me. Listen I received more when I accepted Christ than what anybody can buy with money, I received my soul back and it was cleaned. I am not telling you I am perfect, I am sure that I may have went about some of this in the wrong way, however the message is still the same Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father but through Him. John 14:6 I love you guys even if you hate me thats alright I have nobody to please but God, but remember I still love you guys. As a man who is 6'4" and married for going on 7 years I have no issues with telling you guys that I love you because God loves you that is why He put His Son on the Cross for you. God Bless and take care, I have some work to do. <><

Ok Uttermost, since you don't get and you believe every word of it, lets start on page one of the bible and make this nice and sparkling clear. Genesis, ch.1 verse 20-24, "and god said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven."------i don't think there is a better reason than this to believe in evolution, period. How else is a bird going to come from the water except through cellular evolution, the old "primordial soup theory"? Genesis goes on to say that from the earth every living creature of his kind was made, how else but through evolution do you get cattle from mud?
