Hey guys,
I host charity concerts in Nashville TN. I contacted the USO about doing a show to raise money for them but for some reason they said no....They are only interested in national events.
I've got a date booked in July and need ideas and suggestions for something to support the troops. Are their any similar (reputable) organizations to the USO? Something like care packages or something? Anyone know any higher ups in the military that could shoot me in the right directions? I was thinking if I could get in contact with a company or platoon CO I could figure out a list of stuff his guys need, have the concert to raise money to buy the stuff and send it over.
