Update from the Rocks and Valleys incident?

I better be drinking for free at winterfest...

If all goes as planned I will have driven to California and back before Winterfest.

I might have some bunks built in the back also.

That said, there will be a baby sleeping in the front at least Saturday night and poss Friday night depending on when Grace comes down.

I can start a list I suppose and have no problem stacking it deep in the back.

I just know that Dan and RedHeep's dad (should he attend) get priority since they slept back there last year.

Might have to remind me.

K... Im curious.
Basement story?

If I actually make it to winterfest I could take a spot in the trailer. Its the jeep or a tent otherwise.

As for winterfest, this year, if you were a paid member, there was free camping. I wasn't prepared for all four seasons to happen in the same weekend and had to scrap the camping thing after Thursday night (good thing about living an hour away).

Ahhhh....memories of the radiator explosion that got me....2nd degree over my neck, arm, shoulder, and chest.

The good news is it heals fast.

Rev

I got my right ear, neck, chest & back the same way.

JIM.

BTW, From what I can see her feet will heal well and will have little/no scarring if her skin is anything like mine. My hand looked pretty much like that and 3 months later you cant even tell. Healed totally in ~3 weeks, was able to move around and use it like normal/unbandaged ~2 weeks. Im sure the skin on the feet is a little different, might heal faster/slower...

The skin is going to peal around those burns. Itll be like a pealing sunburn but itll be much thicker. Im not sure if youre actually supposed to pull it off or not, I did. Mine pealed just over 1/4" around all of my burns.

The sooner the better...I'm wore out...

Interesting you say that about 2 - 3 weeks...she's due in 5 and they put her off until after the baby...

Keep lots of ointment on them too... it helps healing, and if you don't use it the bandages will stick. Sticking bandages = bleeding and pain.

If you had seen Rev's burns, it's amazing to me that he doesn't have any scars. I think the hair (beard) on the part that was really burned, doesn;t grow in, but so what.

Man, ya'll that heal up that fast are pretty lucky. If I got burned like that, it'd be months. Auto-immune conditions just plain suck.

Grace is having some type of allergic reaction causing rash all over. Thought it was pain meds at first, but now thinking it might be the lotion used to help heal the wounds.

Trying to get an appt at the out patient burn clinic tomorrow at least, before our next one on Tuesday.

*NO*! Either get in to see your doc, or get to urgent care. Do not screw around with allergic reactions.

Its not something that has come on immediately. She's calling the out patient burn clinic (an ext of the burn hospital) and her doc today, not exactly sure who to see.

Urgent care is not on the list of people to see...

At least make the calls and find out. Just because it's not a sudden onset does not mean that it shouldn't be addressed quickly. Doc, GP, urgent care, burn clinic, emergency room, talk to SOMEONE.
