The skin around it will peal off up to a certain point, look up "debridement".

actually it looks like it will heal nicely...probably still hurts like a b**ch but, that looks exactly as it should for someone with 2nd degree burns. hope she heals up quick mac!

Takes almost an hour to cut off the old wrappings, clean, and rewrap both feet.

Thankfully she had someone come over today while I was at part time to help her do it.

Its getting old fast.

I had the same thing happen, only it was my right hand, second degree, about the size of a deck of cards. Had a blister for a month before they surgically removed it to make sure the skin underneath was healing.

Mac, you could never find anyone better, Grace is an awesome and strong woman and I'm glad she's healing well and hopefully we'll see her up and about soon!

Wow, bad deal. Glad everyone is going to be OK. I've had 2nd ° burns on my leg. It is not fun at all. Hope Grace heals up soon and thankful it wasn't any worse than it was.
