Oh yeah, and I pulled off a sweet wheelie on my way home. Nothing too long but it was fun. :D

That's how it starts man. That's how it starts.

And that's why I want the adventure bike. Camping with the bike would be way easier and get to a lot better places with single track access only vs jeep access.

Well having the family makes it a bit harder to make the switch. That's why I want a quad too. I can put my son on the back of the quad when it's just him and I. The wife and kid can use the quad when she comes, and I can use the dirt bike. Most of the areas I camp the truck can get up no problem, especially with just a little lift and bigger tires. I hardly ever do trails worthy of my Jeep being on 37's.

No I hear ya. I think a solid build on 33's and ifs would be amazing for just about everything. But being just me and maybe the lady an adventure will do great for the times we don't take her or my truck.

Yeah, if I could control myself and quit overbuilding the Jeep it wouldn't be as big of an issue. I just can't help but always build them beyond where I need them to be. I'm going to wait until after the fall to make my decision though, if I get out there and put to use again then I might just stick with it. As it is right now I'm not using it.

I like that Thruxton. Awesome bike you have there.

I just watched the new Mad Max. It was very entertaining, although there wasn't much of a story. I loved all the bikes with the stretched swing arms loaded up with gear and blasting across the desert. There was even a sidecar.

It's very rad to watch. Some very bad ass vehicles in it, plus lots of action. Charlize Theron proved that she can be dead sexy with a shaved head and only one arm. :D

I'm leaving in just over an hour for another In-N-Out run. I'm so excited to just get on the bike and ride. Utah, here I come.

Got my bolts in finally so the second caliper is on and the bracket now hopefully makes sense. Hopefully after I get back from vacation I can button up some last few items.

Took a little longer than expected but we made it. Our buddy on the Shadow caught a nail just before Georgetown. We put a plug in it but that spit out about 10 miles later. Tried again and that time it held until past Silverthorne. That plug got us to Copper Mountain where he called it quits and called the wife to come get him. It sucked having to leave him behind but in the end the trip must go on.

Got my double double animal style (excellent suggestion LuLu, it was delicious) and skipped the fries in favor of a chocolate shake. The burger was so good I went back and ordered another burger. :)
