how could i make my lights come on with the key and go off with the key and with the switch still being able to work would you just put a acc wire to the wire that the switch gets constant power to

Easiest way to do it probably, would be to find/search for a Canadian FSM And check the diagrams for wiring. Not sure if they are in the US FSM.

Couldn't you just find a hot ignition source and use that as the switch for a relay, and the hook the relay up to the power wire for the low beams by the headlight ?

i guess basicly what i want to happen is i wanna leave the switch for the lights on and then when i turn the key on the lights come on the key goes off the lights go off if thats understandable lol

yeah but then you have to turn the switch off everytime im lookin to make them come on go off with the key but the switch still work i wouldnt have asked the question if i was goin to do that DUHH!!!!!

turn key on pull light switch lol instant drlol
x2

Why risk boogering up your wiring to solve a 3 second problem?

I turn my headlights on in the morning when driving in to work, park, shut them off then shut off the Jeep. It's a fairly easy proposition...

I don't know why the intelligentsia are all over your case on this -- they (speaking in the general sense) fall all over themselves responding to some really stupid ideas that members come up with. Not that this is so stupid -- many people around the world and various, if not most, manufacturers now include similar features in their vehicles.

Ditto for those who respond to posts with atrocious grammar. Having said that, members are more likely to take you seriously if you bother yourself to at least try to capitalize and punctuate in your posts. If you just slap something together, your answers are more likely to be slapped together, assuming you get any answers.

Camarors8992 suggested the basics of what you have to do. A proper job will be a bit more sophisticated but you can build on that. I don't have time to expand on this right now, but if no one comes up with something, I will offer a couple of thoughts when I have time.

Are you looking to have your lights on all the time or are you wanting DRLs? With DRLs you don't have your parking lights on all the time, and IIRC some factory ones run the high beam at half wattage. Also, you may be interested in an auto light feature that newer cars have, you can purchase a module that will turn your lights on at dusk.

I want everything to come on just like when you pull the switch but I want to be able to leave the switch on and the light go on and off with the key so i don't want them to stay on when the key is turn off so all I have to do is jump in and turn the key I know this isn't hard just wanna know what exactly I need to do so no not techiniclay DRL
