All right Fab guys need a little help I'm looking at starting to fab up some of my own stuff and I want to start with a roof rack already got me a Lincoln wire feed now I need a bender. Does any one have any recomendations on what kind of bender I could get for a good price? I'm not looking at any mass productionhell if Harbor Freight had one I would probably get it if it wasn't a piece. I seen a couple of different ones there but not sure which type would be appropiate. Any pics would be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance.

jd2, model 3. you want to bend TUBING, not pipe.

go look around, any offroading site will have 50 threads on this subject.

i started with a jd2 + 1.5" die, perfect for bumpers. if you want to start with a roofrack, grab a 1" or so die.

X2 on the JD2 M3.
Harbor Freight does have a tube bender, but its a piece of chit and usually kinks the tube when you bend it.
And yes, you want tube not poop pipe.

pipe splinters and breaks. Pro tools has some cheapies to. I think baleighs amnual bender is like 200ish

X3 on the JD2, works awsome! If you're gonna bend .250 wall might wanna look into the hydro conversion though, but for .120 wall and under piece of cake!
