Tube Bender Stand

Think I'm going to be having a JD2 bender on the way and was wondering you guys fabbed up your own stands or if you used the "pedestal" stand that they sell.

Let me know. It's going in a 2 car garage so I already ordered the plate that allows you to rotate it but I guess if I could move it that would be even better.

I have used both

If you make your own make sure you make it where the base plate is a square and the holes are equidistant from each other in case you need to rotate for room to bend.

Are most people using 1.75" for cages and bumper?

I think 1.5" would be plenty but don't want to order that then wish I had gotten 1.75

Yah problem is I can only get one for now. I like the look of 1.5" better, think that would be fine for bumpers and sliders?

I used the 1.5 for my sliders.

If you can only have one 1.5 is A-Ok in my eyes.

check out offroadfabnet.com a lot of different stands there. We have our own stand on wheels with a backgauge table. it works but it aint pretty. We will be rebuilding it soon
