Tranny Fluid leak

Was returning home today & noticed a good amount of smoke billowing from rear end; upon inspection I was losing a good amount of tranny fluid from hose at housing-- is this a common prob. for late-model XJ's?

Would this be an expensive fix? Just about to call stealership...
