These places are great for striper fishing, going to a remote beach spot, BBQing, etc., but not for wheelin'. Stock vehicles can do all the trails and they enforce a 15 mph speed limit. You have to stay on the trails and they are patrolled by police and rangers.

That being said you can access some really amazing beaches.

Im from the cape and Im pretty familiar with those places and also Im military like some of you.

a weekend on the cape would be cool.. i havent been there in quite a while.. if someone out there has the initiative to handle the logistics on that end i will help set it up.. i wouldnt plan much in the way of wheeling but i used to know a few places on the outer cape.. maybe a lighthouse tour and a lobster bake at a camp ground?? theres only so much you can do out there in the busy season...

Don't they pretty much put the eastern cape into storage after thanksgiving till easter up there ? I know most of the good restraurants from orleans and points east are closed.

i was talking about the warmer months.. i guess it wasnt apparent....

traffic on the weekend on the cape in the summer.. . anyone up there can hook us up with some of thoes sweet cape cod tunnel passes? .. sure would save some time.. haha im down for a weekend up there.

You know its kinda funny you meantion the cape cod tunnel, We just went through it a few weeks ago,,,,,it really does exsist. I have pics.
