I want a carhauler I am thinking a 16 foot one with a beavertail (for the cobra) with at least one set of brakes.

Do you guys have any favorite suppliers? Or anything you would want diffrent about your trailer?

I have a guy that says he can make me one for $1200- $1500, but he is hard to get ahold of, which is of course annoying. He has allready built a smaller utility trailer for me though and I really like it.

Matt do you know who the econotube manufacturer is in Madera, I just got a quote from a guy in susanville for one for $1695, but Madera is closer to me than susanville :) and maybe they sell reasonably from factory direct.

Whatever you do, blast it with another, proper coat of paint. My POS $1700 Carson rusted all to hell within 3 months, but you already knew that .

Matt Brock may have a 16ft in his rental fleet that he would sell. He builds trailers and he's one of our wheeling friends, a whole bunch of people have bought trailers from him. It's a little far from you (Bakersfield), and he's not the cheapest trailer, but they are the best quality, have good quality axles, brakes on both axles, good paint, etc. I rented a 16ft tilt from him one time, that might work for you......no ramps.

Oh, I can't wait to see the mileage numbers on your beasty when you hook up nice trailer.

You're going to have to take out a second mortgage on your house to fund the gas bill on a trip to Moab!

Aw cmon 6-7 mpg isn't bad :)

Well my trailer guy got back to me sounds like he will be able to do it. He will be building 4 of them at once so the cost should be pretty reasonable.

Matt, I guess its not the manufactures name its their line I guess they have an econotube and an econoangle, When I heard they were made in madera I just had to guess you guys probably went to school together or at least shared girlfiends at one point or something :)

Or they were kissing cousins. That's very popular in Chowchilla.
