Trail Planing N W Fest 05

I can always count on you for spare parts:) I should not need any, I have several spares now and have fixed my front pinion now so they last much longer.

Will be no Rovers on this trip (at least not with me).

I think Hans would be a great trail leader, we could see the shine of his pretty body armor from a mile away:)

Can not wait to see you guys there again!!

Micheal. I still have some spare U-joint parts, but I`m not towing any Rover back to Enumclaw.Steve Lewis used up the tow allowance in Liberty on Mem.weekend.
Is Hans asking to lead a group :sunshine: ? Great.. I`ll lead the 2 that are stock rigs and haven`t been there. Hans takes everybody else.He needs to test the body armor. It is so peerrrty.
We all get some road and trail and end up at the rocks.

Sure I will lead the moderate class. We will start with Lilly Pond WITHOUT the bypasses :laugh3:

How about Shoestring, Manstash ridge, Tripod Flats.

How do we really classify moderate class anyway?

I do have my rear Detroit but have not installed it yet. Probably will not have it in for NW fest either. I still have several other projects higher on the list. I do have my winch on and wired now though!!

Working CB on that list this year :exclamati

Are you refering to the same route the 7 of us just did ?
On wed 7/6 I`m checking a couple of trails ,Maybe we will have 3 routes available.

Yea That seems like a good route for the moderate group. Except we wouldn't take the "Hans Alternative Route" Unless someone isn't having enough of a challenge.

did mr. schwab give you anything back for those TXR's? i hate mine i decided. i think i'm gonna get some 33" bfg mud's like kevin's so i can be a COPIER OOOHHHHH. i was considering TSL radial swampers but i hear bad things regarding sidewall weakness - then there's the obvious, they'll only last like 47 miles on the road.....
As a matter of fact, Mr Schwab gave me $40.00 each for the four TXRs and $87 for the Defective one that was cut in the hills a few weeks ago. Bottom line, I spent less than $875 for 5 tires and wheels mounted & balanced.

Yes it is on the list. It does work, but does not seem to be picked up by other CB's very well. You guys might like that (I can hear but not be heard!!:)

To be honest, I am alittle confused on what it could be. My plan is to get a new cable with a better connection and try to re-wire the whole thing and see what happens. Only problem is I do not really have a good way of testing it :)

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Michael

Check the cable ends and ant.for curosion ,clean all threads on ant and mount ,speeking from experience.I have a meter for checking.

I am not very happy with the current ant connection I am useing and am just going to replace the whole cable with both ends so that I eliminate that issue completely. I suspect that should clear it up. Any chance you can bring your meter with you to NW fest so that I can "tune" it while I am there?
