Toys-For-Tots Dec 5th @ Badland

Well there is a good chance that I'll be running the race at that price! Tho I will say that it is affordable compared to other race promoters, but it is not affordable for who I read it was supposed to be geared towards...Anyways thats a whole nother topic...

Glad they're opening at 8am! And thats when I'll plan on being there...

So this Trec Race, does it start when the park officially "closes" at the end of the day? And Is there an extra charge to stay and watch it? If I'm there for the T4T run, i might as well stay and watch!

Looks like ALOT of fun! Just watched some vids.

normally....the park closes you find a place to sit and watch the race...i'm not sure what time the race is going to start...kyle was going to watch the weather and adjust as needed. when the race starts the park has to be closed for running the trails...cause the trec course goes all over the park...i would imagine that it will start near the end of the day...and its only an hour long...

and there hasn't and shouldn't be a charge for spectators...

Cool deal. I watched some vids that you've put online of the Trec races you've been in. Looks like a killer time! I tried to follow along in my mind of where the trucks were racing, but as soon as they went in circles in the sand dunes I got lost.

I think you talked to Beez last night about a 33 spare from some guy in the Fort. I am the guy that would be picking it up this Saturday at Badlands, if all goes according to plan.

I'm so excited for this weekend ya'll have no idea!

My group all dropped out of the trip. Does anyone have a group that I can wheel with (93 Xj 35's locked both ends not afraid of the skinny pedal or bodydamage). I wheel have wheeled at the badlands several times and would love to hook up with another group this weekend. I plan on camping on friday night at the campground right outside the park. Please send me a message so that we can exchange phone numbers and figure out how best to meet up.

yeah look for a blue and silver cherokee buggy with attitude racing on the back glass. i should be there about 9am local time

I would like to thank all who attended this year. We had a great day and a fanatic turn out! The Marines are still counting our toys but they are guesstamating over 1,000 toys collected. :cheers: See you all next year 1st Saturday of December Toys For Tots "oh 10"

Had a really good time this year! First time out for this event. I cant believe how "nice" it was for being the first weekend of December. I overheard some people saying they couldn't even get to Attica last year because of the weather.

Great turnout and thanks to the club that hosted it and the event coordinators for doing such a good job! Will be back next year for sure!
 
I had a great time! The weather was nice, the cab was warm, and the trails were fun too! I never made it to the pig roast, but I hope it was as much of a success as it smelled :D

yes it was a great time. The food was awsome. i have not seen the quarry as busy, in all the times i have been there. i guess because of the trec race is why. they were prerunning the course all day and showing off in the quarry... it was cool..

I had a great time too...Broke the strap bolts off in my rear yoke back in red keepin me outta the race...Glad I didn't run it tho they took their happy time gettin it started and ran it in the dark, my thrash gettin my new bumper built and mounted left me with one headlight that worked when I left in the a.m...That was a really good event!
 
I had fun too! It was very busy! The weather was nice, the camping was in the 20's...just prep for winterfest...

I wish the TREC races would start on time, but I'm not in charge...my junk lasted the race, and I couldn't hardly see, but I finished!
