to swap or not to swap.....

Sweet! I'm glad this thread is still alive. Unfortunately, I still haven't done the swap, and now I'm leaving for the army, but I'd love to see someone on here go through with it.
 
For those looking at at possibilities of a dry sump... Why on earth use an electriv pump when mechanicals are what most folks use. Here is a link to an example of the pump. The site also has complete systems for Chevys. I know that does not directly help but it can give ideas. Yes?

This is just one supplier. I ran a dry sump one my Triumph (car...) back in the early 70's. I chose an electric setup and included an ignition safety switch that would shut everything down in the event of pressure reduction. As my pump did fail (after 2 years) the switch saved the engine as it shut down with 15lbs of pressure left.
