TO DO LIST

I went from only having to go to liquor store to the following:
1)upgrade to zj steering parts
2) new hubs / ball joints
3) lose tranny drop
4) replace bushing in control arms
5) replace winch that doesn't work
6) put in full on electric fan
7) upgrade front brakes
8) yellow top
9) probably tires

Going to be a busy weekend.

Ball joints are only thing I really really hate on that list

What brand ball joints did you go with?

Axle seals are replaced and leaking worse than before
Engine mounts have been replaced.
Radiator has been replaced.
Fuel pressure regulator has been replaced.

Just need to adjust my steering and re-wire my CB and i'll be as done as I can be for the crawl.

Oil change on truck - DONE
Fuel filter on truck - DONE
Rotate truck tires - DONE
Grease truck steering & joints - DONE
Redo front bumpstops on jeep - DONE

• Charge up A/C on XJ – Done
• Peel old purple bubbled up rear tint off XJ – Done
• Oil & Filter Change (XJ) – Done
• Install rear locker – postponed – (Repair finder on wife’s car due to hit and run instead of getting my locker, because of some Wal-Mart-non-driving-jerk) - Done
• Acquired tow rig – Done
• Put tires on tow rig – Done
• Repair death wobble on tow rig – Done (Front brakes and rotors)
• Repack wheel bearing Tow rig – Done
• Fix A/C tow rig - Done
• Oil & Filter on Tow Rig – Done (Cummins 5.9 Turbo Diesel -thank you, thank you very much)
• Fix passenger window on tow rig – Done
• Fix windshield washer on tow rig - Done
• Borrow trailer to tow XJ – Done
• Find 2016 Crawl stuff on the forum like this and post – Done
• Locate other CB radio – still looking….wait Glenn? Yup that’s it….

I found my rear seat belt retractor today. I'll install once it cools down.

1. WJ Brakes and upgraded steering - NOT GONNA HAPPEN
2. WJ Power Steering pump and cooler - COULDN'T GET IT NOT TO LEAK, STUCK WITH THE OEM VERSION
3. TREs - DONE
4. Ball Joints - DONE
5. Tighten up all suspension bolts - DONE
6. Steering gear box - DONE
8. Try again with the WJ power steering pump - JUNKYARD ONLY HAD 4.0 L WJs TODAY (denied)
9. Oil and Filter change - DONE
10. Radiator flush and fill - DONE
11. New draglink - DONE
12. Get driveshafts checked for balance and good u-joints - DONE
13. Replace steering stabilizer -DONE
14. Chase that final steering "clunk"
15. Charge A/C - DONE - maybe? Not as cold as I would have expected
16. New transmission mount - DONE
17. Review all drive line angles with the new trans mount -DONE

So don't buy a smittybuilt winch, installed it and free spool lever won't move to free spool and wireless remote only works in one direction, this was supposed to be a good one from them x2o 10k....it's getting exchanged for a made in USA warn.

You and me both! It's together and driving around the yard, but I haven't wheeled it since last October. Also gunna be a virgin run for the trailer, and with a bunch of new stuff on that too
