hit the lottery so i can finish the Buggy.... but as far as the XJ goes I just need to install my new steering and get a few more spare D30 short shafts..might have to get some new tires too.
 
Got another Jeep so this list is scrapped. New List
Fix front driver brake line DONE- New Hardline installed
Put interior back together
Install rear seat
Install rear shocks
Buy and install front shocks
Install TJ rear flares on front- Bought
Fix small rust hole on roof
Take apart suspension and paint.
Fix passenger window
Working 7 days a week really puts a hamper on jeep work.
 
- Build front truss for steering ram - DONE
- Finish front suspension mounts (shock, coil, box in link mounts) - DONE - shock mounts
- Build track bar and brackets - DONE
- Build control arms - UCA DONE
- Put rear suspension together (weld in perches, shackle hangers)
- Build rear bumper - DONE
- Finish bobbing the bed - DONE (just needs paint)
- Build rear wheel wells - DONE
- Gear, assemble, paint both axles
- Prep new leaf spring packs - DONE
- Figure out brake system (hydroboost) and associated plumbing
- Modify fuel cell to accept YJ sending unit
- Build fuel cell mount
- Relocated battery to bed
- Build rockers - DONE
- Put interior back together and run the wiring harness
- Modify bracket for slave cylinder
- Exhaust (hopefully stock downpipe, muffler, and then turndown at rear bumper)
- Cage if time permits
- OBA setup
- Driveshafts front and rear

I keep breaking random small stupid junk and not fixing it till right before the next run or right before it explodes and ruins my day.

That ujoint was a good example, it got so hot it melted the trunnions and blued + thermal expansion cracked the caps. There were shiny spots on the yokes where the ears were touching.

0. Get XJ back from shop (been laid up getting cabin floor replaced with bead-rolled 16ga. Yes, I know I'm nuts.) DONE
1. Have possible slow air leak in RF tire checked
2. Install heavy-duty tie rod
3. Install Clayton Adjustable UCAs (got with winnnings from December raffle)
4. Install closed-cell padding under carpet Passenger side done, Driver side remains
5. Install new power antenna
6. Fix damn power mirror wiring (when I do the DS padding)
7. Paint, assemble, and install replacement OEM rear bumper in place of tweaked original one
 
- Replace front locker cable, and don't route it like a retard this time
- Do something for a transfercase skid so that I stop bending the crappy Warn skid I have into my transfercase every time out, and have it rattle and annoy the crap out of me.
- Engine mount Done
- Yada yada yada
