I was at Walmart today waiting way too long for them to work on my sisters Toyota and saw some tires that I had never seen before. They are called Wrangler Authority AT's by Goodyear. Has anybody ever used these before and if so how did they like/dislike them. All input on these would be great. Here is a pic, thanks!

Yeh, I used them once. I took my Jeep to them to pull some balancing beads out of my tire and rebalance it. The next time I drove it the valve stem ruptured and ruined the tire.

I had to have it towed and buy new tire put on. It took 4 months of fighting to get paid back.

I think he meant the tires, not hell-mart.

Some stores are better than others. That same store wouldn't warranty my batteries a few years ago so I drove straight to another store and they exchanged them without any issues. It is a few minutes closer than the one who actually helped is the only reason I continue to go there. Not any more though.

I don't have any personal experience with that tire, but based on the picture, the voids look too small to self-clean the mud.

that would be why its an allterrain and not a mud terrian... bfg AT is the same way...maybe worse as far as mud goes...

I like the looks of the tire, kinda reminds me of a Dueler Revo.

But I won't take a vehicle to Wal-Mart for anything. My buddy's wife took her Beetle there to get the oil changed. They stripped the drain plug and wanted to push it outside and let her deal with it. I told her to no let them push it out, once it is out of their shop it is her problem. After about 20 minutes of a heated discussion with the "asset recovery" manager, her car got loaded up on a rollback and taken to the VW dealership where a new pan and plug were installed...paid for by Wally Mart!

just put a set of those 31's on a month ago and i love em, they do great in the slick stuff, i was driving around my buddy with semi-worn tsl's to snatch him out. they ride well on the street and make little noise, they worked better than the tsl's in steeeeep rocky hill climbs as well. if i ever do 31's again this is my tire of choice. He's getting a set next week. I haven't had any chunking or slices in the tread yet either :)

I work as a ase master tech for another Franchise and had a car come in a month ago tho have their oil changed I had to weld a wrench to the drain plug to get it out:gee: it was so tight even a pipe wrench would get it lose . their last oil change was a Hell-mart

the tire seems to be like a secret or somthin. iv been poking around the internet and lots of guys are kinda at the same point as us. not sure what to make of it but wanna know if its any good.

im tempted to toss a set on my jeep and see how it pans out.

ill trade you mine so you can try them out lol

hardy har har lol so my kinda local wally word has em and the guy flat out told me to bring the rims (not the jeep) and have em mounted. 130 a tire is hard to beat im headin out to get em in about 20 min.

yrea sure they look good but how are they far as a tire goes?
