More deflator threads comming back from the dead...

You can make your own adjustable deflator for about $9 a piece. Here is the link to my writeup. I'd like someone else besides me to make some so we can get a second opinion. I've been very happy with mine.

I have the Oasis deflators & like them, They were a pain to set up, but now I just screw them on before I hit the soft sand, drive a few minutes, get out & take them off; All 4 tires @11PSI.

I have both Stauns and a Currie EZ deflator .. but after reading through this thread, I think I'm going to order up some RADS.

Yup, that's why I gave away my Stauns and got an EZ Deflator.

dude, use a key, or a screwdriver... it doesn't take THAT long...!!!

Dude it really does though...I couldn't believe it. You can go at it with a key to get most of the pressure out, but you need a gauge once you get close and that takes forever.

I just pull the cores on all 4 and use the viair to bring them back up to where I want if I need to. I have it timed pretty well though by the time im back to the first tire it is usually about 10psi where I usually run

just get a V.C.R and it will take 1/8 of the time compared to the tire deflators.. when the air starts whistling put the core back in and youll be about 10 PSI. thats what i use and its about 10 seconds for everything from start to finish. (10 seconds per tire)

i just bought some CSI auto deflators, i havent gotten a chance to use it yet, i set them and as long as i get close to where i want to be i can adjust it from there... i have them set to approx 12 psi based on just sitting there, i'll figure it out by next time i goto the beach... and i only paid 40 dollars for all 4... pretty cheap i must say and look almost identical to the stauns
