So what have you guys done with the parking brake cables etc that used to be bolted to the rear uppers? Anything? Thinking i could cut the flats off the OEM arms and weld them to the RE's.. give me some practice with the welder under the rig.

your new rear uppers didnt come with tabs welded to them? The RC lift I did had them and it was nice to not have to worry about it....but that sounds like your best bet.
LOL at Ken. If that happens my neighbors are gonna hear it. Think i'll hold off and do it on the workbench when i swap the 44 in.
Shafty.. no my arms dont have the tab.
Moved it to the side of the house back towards garage this am.. cleaned up out front. Didnt want it sitting out there for the holidays... gonna need the parking.
Hurt my back and shoulder yesterday using a pipe wrench and pipe for breaker on a lower rear arm jam nut. Had boogered threads i hadnt noticed.. had to run the nut over to recut the threads. Worked fine but took some time/effort.
Gonna take a few days off from it. Merry Christmas Guys..

Just to throw it out there when you get the 90's 1500 lines get them for a 2wd. The 4wd ones are much shorter. I run these on mine with wj calipers that are much lower than stock and they work great. Can't beat $25 lines

I didnt catch the 2wd specific anywhere i read.. so thank you!
Santa brought me a new camera for Christmas, hopefully the pics in this thread will improve. Heard from Joe @ EMF.. my 44 is about done. Now to source a NP249 with bad VC or one someone yanked in a swap.
Gary stopped in today and helped me bleed the brakes, and adjust the front trackbar. I think the rear TB needs a bit as well, i'll get to it later. Tomorrow if weather holds out i'll set the toe.
Gave Gary first ride around the neighborhood, then we both went. It needs a bit more adjusting of things and trim the front bumper cover yet.. but it's getting there.
Dude at CF (xjfiles) sells TB's bored through to take out the lower restriction.. guess it's just matched to the top. Cheap and said to improve throttle response.. seem to be popular over there so i figured i'd try it.
Cold and real windy here today. While in garage i heard a racket.. and found the ShelterLogic blown over that houses the RTT, Trike, lawn furniture and Scrambler body. Took care of that and got back to work on the ZJ for a bit.

I have a Borla hanging in garage. It's an XJ application but hoping the downpipe is usable on the ZJ, otherwise the local muffler shop will probably be making something up.
Chris, thank you. Let me know when you'll be visiting your bud and i'll meet ya wherever.
Joe about has my axle brackets done, i'll be heading up his place soon to grab the 44. I didnt get much time on the Jeep today, managed to get the lights and bumper back on.
