Thinking of a camping wheeling trip (JULY)

So I just called the district office, we will need a permit for a fire. they give them out at the office in alpine. Once we settle on a date I will head up there and get the permit. I am thinking the 18-19th or 19-20. What days are best for the majority? either is fine with me. The adventure pass is $5 a day or 30 for the year and can be had at most outdoor stores such as big 5 and sports authority.

I think they are 25 for one and 30 for 2 passes. That is what it was last year when I bought them. I have not checked this year yet

online they say 30 and thats what the guy told me. Must be the cost of inflation.

Wont be able to get a locker by then, but I have installed sliders and a gas tank skid. I made it up once before with niether so I figure I am better off now. I know it has changed a bit but Im all for a little stappin.

I'm pretty sure i'll show up.. still no rock rails so i dont know what i'll do while i'm there... maybe grill hotdogs

I may be ordering up a new set of rails from AJ with some thicker outter tubing and the newer ones tuck a bit more. I got stuck in that notch last time out, 2" narrower at the rails and I'd have made it through.

So who wants to camp and who is just coming up for the day?

I might be up for this one. I missed the last Corral Canyon run. I'm dying to see how my Jeep handles that trail.Over night is good. That trail is a long haul for me...
Too soon to say for sure though.

So I have been trying to see if the trails close at anytime havent really been able to find anything online only thing I saw was that the park is open 24hrs not sure if there are any exclusions for the trails. gonna call the ranger tomorrow. maybe we can do a night run.
