Had my XJ rearview drop in my lap once somewhere out east of Phoenix. Apparently hot weather and a little bumpin' around loosened it.
Ripped the lightbar off my 87 Toyota when I caught a pine branch under it. That's when I decided to relocate the lights after doing some body work to repair the tear. The worst part was that you couldn't see the tear when the truck was standing still. At highway speeds the whole bar would tip back 20 degrees and start howling...I'd stop and so would it.
Someone posted a broken oil sender unit; I did that on the highway to Boise once. Ended up JB Welding a quarter onto the end of it and driving home.
