all i know is that a pound of rock is alot heavier than a pound of feathers..
I have thought about getting a monster rock delivered.. a friend has a relative who works at a quarry..Nothing like rolling the jeep in the front yard...

Rocks have a specific gravity ranging from 2-3. (water has SG = 1). At 4 feet x 4 feet x 10 feet (160 ft^3, or 4.53 m^3), your rocks would weight between 9060 kg (19900 lbs) and 13600 kg (29900 lbs). This is the weight of about 8-9 XJ's. They will have to be skidded across your lawn, and with the coefficent of friction assumed to be 0.8 (rough rock on soft ground), your would need between 16000 lbs and 24000 lbs of force to get it moving, and probably 10-16k lbs of force to keep it moving. Find a local farmer, be his friend, and get him to bring a big tractor down. (or rent a huge excavator from your local cat dealer for the day, probably cost ya $2000 for the biggest bitch they got). Have fun.
