"The Walking Dead" on AMC

I am wondering if he is pulling a Herschel, realizing that there is no way back no matter who they are.
I have to admit, the wife and I laughed when he woke up alone.

I agree 100%. But I don't think this reformed man gimmick is going to last for long. The Governor is a ruthless bastard (at least in the novela) and that chess game was obvious foreshadowing. Good writing though. Splits the audience into who thinks he's being genuine and who thinks this is all a scheme.

I'm the latter. As soon as you don't expect it......

I dont see any reformation, he did a family a favor, and protected a little girl.

GREY MATTER, the cornerstone of any nutritious drama.

He just gunned down 20 innocent people in cold blood then risked his life to get an old man some oxygen. I'd say that's the epoch of reformed.

As a man with a beautiful daughter, I knew as soon as he laid eyes on that little girl that it was going to bring out a different side of him - the daddy. That girl drummed up the feelings he had for his daughter and the paternal instincts set in.

I think he's being genuine, but the first chance he gets to get even with the gang, he will blow up. He'll kill Aunt lesbian in a heartbeat though, the woman and he daughter are safe.

Not so reformed after all.

I knew it! I think the Governor is a really complex character. The guy obviously has major baggage. I can't tell if he's inherently good or bad.

No inherently good guy hits a guy with a golf club then feeds him to a pit of zombies.

LMAO

But.....but......It was for the greater good. I think.

The fact that they have a tank really excites me. It's starting to look more like the novel now. And if that's the case, the rest of this season is going to be AWESOME. Figures after next week the damned show will off for a few months. Just when it's getting good, too.

that was a good one

Yea i figured he would start a war at the mid season finally.

i think he could have told Pete that he wanted to be the leader, that guy was looking for a way out. i guess seeing that he was not strong or cold enough to kill in order to survive is why he offed him.

the lake is the new fish tank for the gov i guess, that's awesome.

still not sure if it was the gov feeding the rats, he would have had to be inside but that wouldn't be to hard for him. question is,(if it was him) why would he want hoards of zombies over there, if he wants to take it from ricks gang?

it seems like it takes a few weeks to get interesting then they snatch it away from you. i just don't understand this mid season crap, several shows do it.

I don't think he wants to take the prison for himself, I think he wants paypack and plans to annihilate the whole group.

Don't know if anyone has asked already but Who's cutting the grass . If I don't cut mine every week trees start to grow and the grass is gets to 3 feet high . They are driving all over the countryside and the grass is nice and trim . Is the plague stunting the growth of grass trees and shrubs ? Yes , I realize I'm being anal .

The Gov can't let the prison stand , they know the real Governor . Martinez knew him too and look how he ended up .

Obviously not real but so realistic at the same time .

One of the best endings so far and to think it started out so slow .
