"The Walking Dead" on AMC

Wow, maybe getting closer to the comic now?

A little bit closer. In the comic, Michonne tortured and quartered the Governor's ass with her sword - which would have been appropriate after what he did to Herschel. That bastard.

I cannot wait until February!!!

A more fitting to the Gov would have been to leave him alive to be finished off by the walkers . They did not actually show him with a bullet to the head or any other part of his body so who knows if he's going to suffer a worse fate . If she did not put one in his head is he going to be back in Feb as a walker ? Hmmmm

Much more realistic as well . Main characters that never get much more than a scratch is not true to life .

Well now that was some episode. Governor's finally dealt with. Probably lol

Shoulda let Carl pop him in the head from 50 yards with iron sights when he first showed up.

First time I read this I saw "poop on his head". That would've been priceless.

Never seen a tv series where they constantly develop characters you fall in love with only to kill them off.

Game of Thrones does this as well ;) Much more complicated to write and keep people engaged as viewers tend to latch onto characters.

I like that they kill off the folks we love. It really does keep it real. If you are in this world, it is pretty likely that your loved ones or you will die.

Getting separated is also a realistic point. Can you imagine how easy it would be to lose sight of everyone during a swarm like that?

I have felt since Shane got killed, that they have no reservations on killing off main characters. IMO, no one is safe and don't be surprised if someone like Rick, Maggie, or Daryl get killed eventually.

nobody has mentioned the missing baby, I wonder if they're going to play up that angle or if the blood in the carseat is going to be the last we see of her.

On one hand i want to say she is done for because she had no value to the show besides a way to kill Lorie.

But they never showed a body sooooo

you know what I keep wondering? in "show time" this has been going on for what, 2 years? i can't remember. but, what's keeping these zombies from rotting or bugs and birds reducing them to fertilizer?

The last time we saw the baby was when the 4 girls were standing there holding her in the car seat. The one girl said that they needed to get guns. The next time was saw the 4 girls the baby was no where to be found. I don't think she's gone but I don't know where so went. I'm guessing Beth has her somewhere.

Splitting up... They had a plan to all get on the bus and go but they didn't have a plan to meet somewhere specific if they got split up? Dumb.

what's keeping these zombies from rotting or bugs and birds reducing them to fertilizer?

Probably the same stuff the Keith Richards uses.....

What bothered me about the episode was that everyone had guns drawn and aimed for a long time before the governor cut Herschel. And yet when he did it, no one on either side dropped dead.

There should have been dozens of dead bodies in that very instant on both sides.

They're all decent shots... They've been fighting zombies and shooting moving targets for years by this point. They should have been able to hit a stationary person that they've been aimed at for the duration of the standoff...
