"The Walking Dead" on AMC

never watched any of the episodes before this past weekend but my girlfriend is a huge fan so I sat down saturday and watched all of season one and sunday we watched all of two. Recorded season 3 premier and watched it Monday night. I will say that I am hooked on the show and even after they possibly eliminate all zombies and hopefully continue the series on to the rebuild I would continue to watch it. The zombies are my least favorite part of the show. the story and acting is pretty spot on for a tv show.

Its one of them tv shows that you want the last season to hurry up and get here cause you want to know how it ends but then again you dont ever want it to haha.

I really wish lori (sp) would die and so will the baby I fear that its gonna add a different dynamic to the show but hopefully the directors wont focus to much on the baby. Carl (sp) that little bastard needs his but whooped and fed to the first heard of walkers that come along. Kids have no place in this show and are truly my least favorite aspect of it.

Anyways all in all I am super stoked that my girlfriend insisted that I watch them cause now I am hooked as much as one can be. def a must watch series

I actually felt bad about my carl comments after this last episode, it seems like he's grown up in the writing.

UNFORTUNATELY, now we have a pregger bitch.... ugh. WTF?

I think this season, theyve got all the bitch shit over and done with... looks like it should be a good one!

I agree 100% with you on this I just hate that they focused alot of time on him in the second season. Thinking that depending on how long the show will run he may be the new world leader sort of speak after all is said and done

Laughing at everyone's comments here.

Kids would be a major part of the story if this somehow was real. Carl acts like most kids his age too.

Seriously? No one posts on this since the new episode? I liked the new one. Rick is having some serious internal struggles. Either that or he just flipped a switch and will kill anyone to save his crew, no matter zombie or not. Tomás was a douche. Glad he got what was coming to him. I wasn't really sure if Hershel was goin to make it this far. I figured he would be a zombie for sure by the end of the episode. The little shit did something good in this episode, and albeit a little wreck less, he succeeded and didn't cause any trouble. So good for him.

I'm looking forward to when they and the new town army guys finally meet. There is going to me some interesting interchange.

Also, I'm thrilled Merle is coming back. I'd still like to see if he has his hand haha. I'm curious to see how his return will impact the group and see if it will tear the group apart.

So far, I'm pretty happy with the way the season is going and it's good to see that they just got a good amount of food, as we won't have to worry about that being in the storyline and taking up too much time.

Anyone else's thoughts?

I thought that this episode dragged on.

I liked the big teddy bear like dude. I hate he got axed.

Glad that Rick chopped that other dudes forehead in half.

The oldest inmate dude reminds me of my uncle.

The rest of the show was slow and I preferred watching "Once Upon a Time" on ABC.

ENjoyed it.... HELL no on the mouth to mouth to a potential Zombie! Forget that! You all can just take an axe to the head!

another great show for season 3, I'm liking the whole prison aspect and think its a great idea. the group could slowly work through most of the prison in sections killing of all the lame brains and eventually make it a long term settlement. However the whole second group army thing will surely make all that nothing but wishes and wants.

Im curious to see what Andrea does when Rick and crew show up as well as darrells reaction to his brother. They showed us a little on how the brothers interacted with each other a couple episodes ago and basing my opinion on that I think Darrell will stay with the group. At least with Rick and them he is not talked down to and is shown some respect.

Ricks demeanor has changed dramatically and it shows that in the harshest of situations even the purest will change. I think that he accept the army as long as he feels its a safe haven for his son and soon to be baby. Lori on the other hand is dead to him and Im ok with that shes a whore

That's Lew Temple, he's done a few horror movies in the past. I was surprised to see him on the show actually.

Agreed the second episode was a bit slow. Not sure how the two prisoners that are left will play out in the rest of the show (never followed the comic). Rick has turned into a badass, which is a nice change of pace from the past. Glad to see Carl stepping up, even if Lori isn't ready for it. Let's face it, living in a zombie infested world would probably make your kids grow up a wee bit faster than normal. Glad to see Hershel is still kicking. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I was thinking that too. "ARE YOU STUPID!!!!!" I was just waiting for him to grab her.

I was thinking/hoping the creators would take both of them out in one fell swoop, two birds, one stone.

They couldve both died, and the show would be better off for it.
