The Snow - It's Finally Here!! (Photos)

well we atlantans rarely get snow but at the first mention of rain people automatically slow down to 20 or 30 MPH on the highways. I think the inability to drive in weather is just a common thing in most cities.
 
Went snowboarding for the first day of the season yesterday, I'm super excited for winter... my favorite :D

On the last day of the fall semester last year, I had my Jeep up in Boston so that I could drive home and take a few things with me for break. Boston ended up getting hit with a snow storm, and went into a snow emergency state.

I was just surprised at the dumbasses who didn't think to stay inside, instead the streets were gridlocked, and I couldn't leave until 10pm when I was planning on leaving at 5. I still remember some guy in a 350Z and street tires just spinning in the middle of the road.

Oh that, and I also drove off the highway on the way home due to a loose trackbar bracket, that was fun.
 
No such luck down here...will have to throw some sand around while wearing shorts and flip flops
 
It's almost all gone now. Haven't had any snow since. It's been cold though. High's in the 20's/30's, low's in the high teens to mid 20's. Fun times.

Our ski season doesn't open 'til after Christmas. But if you watch TruTV's "Ski Patrol", my mountain is the mountain where they film (Blue Mountain). Pretty sweet:

I'm so glad I live in California, I absolutely hate snow. I don't visit my daughter in the Sierras between the 1st flurry and the spring thaw.

Just the Stock XL-5 i know its not water-proofed very well so it may not do so good but I've been wanting to upgrade!

Hey Kev! Do you have a close up shot of the CB mount. I've been wanting to do a set up like that on the drivers side!
 
Yeah i'm not worried about the motor so much as i am for the speed controller. I like your idea though i may make a plastic cover for it!
 
We got some really bad weather her yesterday(Thanksgiving) It rained off and on all day! It was terrible. Sometimes there was upwards of a quarter inch of water on the road. And the puddles! The temp dropped all the way down into the 60s at one point! It was like we were gonna die!

Actually, I wouldn't mind playing around in a foot or two for the white stuff. Those of you who live in places that get useful bad weather,...

Oh man! I'd say I feel your pain, but I can't do the bald face lie thing. Whiteouts suck.(but it does take care of the idiot drivers!)
