The Roosternator

lucky you......i saw the same tip on cherokeeforum but neither of the walmarts near me had them.....

cherokeeforum, haven't been there in a little while

Hey Rew, you get them all wired up?

i got the ones on the front bumper all wired up the right way, haven't put them up on the rack yet. i need to figure out some kind of different mount on my bumper cause the tabs on it are not out far enough and the lights dont point straight there aimed straight down at the street

ill take a pic later :D

this was unexpected but thanks to an insider tip in the important thread i picked up some hella 500's for the front bumper and 500ff's for the roof rack :D 30 bucks total

whoda thought it looks like every other XJ with lights mounted on the front bumper :D

Just stick some washers in there and it should get the lights a little lower so they will point straight.

Thats what i did to get my lightforces to mount. Andrew did you ground the underhood part to the body or the negative on the battery? I can't get the relay to trigger on mine unless i jump it.

I have a nut in there for a spacer right now and still need a little more

I wired it to the battery

I have ground in the cab, the switch lights up, The trigger wire is going to the middle terminal on the switch and the power wire is on the positive terminal. So somewhere between the battery and the relay is where my problem lies. Hubs, I can go to the Hella site and look at the instructions. I've wired up a couple sets, I shouldn't need them.......guess i was wrong.

still dont see any sliders installed yet...haha

im trying to get to them just finally got the garage cleaned up so i can pull in there.

Aaron, swap the yellow and green wires. Rew, check yours too. :)

With the O (off) oriented up, yellow wire(trigger) goes to #1, green (power) #2 , blue (ground for switch light) #3.
