Hey Guys,
I have been lurking for awhile now and am looking to get a XJ. I just want something mellow to take my 8 and 4 year old offroading in and do some decent trails. I have 2500 bucks to spend to find an decent Jeep.
I have been doing research, but if anyone comes across a good deal or can ask them questions that I might not think of that are common to XJ's like rust, or electrical, or stuff like that I would appreciate it. Hopefully I'll be seeing you guys out on the trails soon,

It wouldn't be hard to reinforce the mounting arrangement but if you still have a hitch then that is the best tow point.
