The Official CraigsList Thread...

Front and Rear Dana 44s for a TJ Rubicon with 4.10s and factory lockers. Front will bolt in a Cherokee and rear will need to be changed to spring perch. I just got off the phone with the guy and he told me $1300 per housing and would throw in the factory compressor and harness if you bought both. A little expensive, but not a bad deal if you don't want to do alot of fab. He also told me to make an offer, so I bet cash would talk.

You're running the JK axles, or TJ?

I'm running JK so this is not for me. The TJ are the same width as Cherokee and bolt pattern. Actually this is the only Dana 44 front that would directly bolt in to an XJ.
I just may have to consider this since I may be keeping my own XJ after all.

Hmmm...

Dude! The special V6 4.0 motor. Xtra valuable.:laugh2:

I bought one for $500 from Umbenga Ubuntu, I sent him the money and he promised to send it to me via cargo ship landing in Long Beach, still waiting for it to arrive. Perhaps it took a while for the money to reach the Republic of Congo. It is hard to tell when it will arrive because he does not answer emails anymore.

Are you serious?
