THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Muscle-Cars-But-no-driveway-Burndogs Thread

Not for me, mom is looking to get rid of the crapola, she drove the shit out of the soul during the test drive

I didn't think it was for you, not enough racecar.

Just felt cheap overall, she's probably better off with another Toyota. I don't think the Korean cars are with the Japanese yet in terms of the long term durability.

Not really thrilled with the current service of toyota. Having battery and starting issues and there playing stupid.

Check the wiring to your rear o2 where it goes over the driveshaft, Colin. That and misrouted upstream o2 harness melting to the exhaust are the #1 and #2 cause of that fuse popping, it's getting so common I usually have people check that first on a "jeep suddenly died while driving" failure.

I disagree. Kia/Hyundai is worlds over Honda's car line. Nissan too. We don't get that "japanese quality" anymore with all the cars being made in mexico, thailand, canada and the US. The japanese save their best stuff for themselves.

Though Honda is starting to turn around with the new CEO, the Pilot is gorgeous. Toyota sedans are generic appliances I would never buy but they work well for the most part. I'd still but a Hyundai or Kia over any other brand if I needed a new subcompact. Except for maybe the Fiesta with the 1.0 3 cylinder ecoboost.

I'd definitely say they're improving- but the longevity of the vehicles has not been proven. I see a 20 year old Corolla or Civic every day; can't say the same about a Korean car. My dad just gave me his 2002 accord with 262k on it, and it was worth it to do the repairs needed and keep the car on the road. I'd agree though- quality seems to have dipped.

There's no question that the fun is gone out of most of those product lines. The 90's were probably the height for exciting Japanese cars- everyone had a performance model of almost every car they made. The Honda commercial showing the first gen CRX is hilarious- there are no parallels between that car and the current Accord. The US seems to have taken over that niche instead- Focus/Fiesta ST's, all sorts of engine choices and options in the Mustangs and Camaros, lots of small turbo motors set up with performance in mind throughout all three makes. Cool to see that the market hasn't dried up/

3hr trip Friday with 3 of us in a regular cab truck. Let's not take Bills extended cab. Atleast there's a dvd player. So bringing my Katy Perry concert dvd

Bro time.

You bring that DVD and the threat of lack of showering and bean & cheese eating may have to prove true.

Although, not that I care to admit it, I can say after almost 40 hours of riding listening to Dundy's music picks I can at least identify some of the songs now.

True. I think that the koreans just haven't been around long enough with quality cars yet. The ones from the late 90s/early 2000s were still pretty shitty.

That's what I'm arguing, Nissan/Toyota/Honda were making really good shit in years past as evidenced by what's still around. Can't say the same for the Koreans yet.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Muscle-Cars-But-no-driveway-Burndogs Thread

Also I still have a huge bucket list of 90's foreign cars I need to own and then get bored with and sell too soon.

-B13 Sentra SE-R
-1992 Integra GS-R (because 1.7 VTEKSSS)
-Volvo 850R
-2000 Integra Type R
-Celica Alltrac
-91/92 Galant VR4
-99/00 Civic Si
-98-00 Impreza 2.5RS
-1995 540i Msport

Then the "supercars"- 300ZX and Supra TT, don't really care for the NSX.

And of course my E36 M3, which sucks and will probably stay that way.
