THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Muscle-Cars-But-no-driveway-Burndogs Thread

I have a hardtail Giant from like 2006 that rides great. That's a fantastic price for a full suspension bike

I have no idea what any of the words in that listing mean. I just want a bike and I thought that one look the coolest for under $1000. I'd rather spend more like $500 but I might pick that up or something like it.

all you need to know is good added parts, even better price. That bike retailes for about $2500 new and is easily worth 1500 used in stock form

Maybe I'll make a splurge purchase and see if I can pick it up this weekend or something. If it's a good all around bike I'll force Pat to go riding with me. Can't wait to get hurt.

Lame. You're all old and boring and stuff.

Finally stopped being lazy and banged shit out this past week, took work off today and got the last loose ends from the engine swap done with John. Had to do a ton of stuff while it was out but the extra time/effort seems to have paid off. Took it for a drive for the first time to the gas station to air up (still at 12psi from rocktoberfest) and got up to 60 and felt mint. Swapped the stinky fab trans mount for my old one from crown which definitely helped the driveline angle so no more vibes which means no more fwd!!! Gonna miss the bmw as the dd but being able to drive the jeep to work in the morning feels like christmas came early.

I'll probably break something else or rip my trackbar off the frame or some dumb shit this weekend though

Deng, keep your eyes peeled for hipster dirty bikes.

How about this? Is this cool?

It has fox shocks so it must be cool rite!?

Thats a great bike, but its a size small. Way too small for you. If you're looking at MTBs in that price range, check out:

I have a goblin evo from them (got it very lightly used) and its an awesome bike.

Passed inspection again yesterday without having to go to a sketchy place as usual. WTF is wrong with me?

Ya I noticed he listed it for a guy who is 5'9" max so I'll just keep my eye out for something else. I figure the winter might be a good time to buy a dirt bike and mountain bike because people will just have them sitting around. Maybe somebody will want a Honcho in trade.

Posting here so we don't hijack Colin's thread.

Not the steal Colin's thunder but come to the toys for tots run Sunday and I'll give you mine for free.
We need to see you Mark!

It has been too long.

Hmm, interesting idea. Now that no one has jeeps anymore, are there any open seats? I'm definitely not walking the entire time, I don't think I'd last long hiking up obstacles.

Just bring your flippers, I'm sure there's plenty of snorkling to do on the trail.

Trails not that long, Bill's gonna be doing it on crutches
