THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

I'm dumb, forgot to put lock tight on after the last time this happened and the lower bolt is now gone, upper loosened up enough for it not to engage with the flywheel, got it all sorted.

Happened to me on my Dodge when my wife and I were up at North Conway.

I threw a ratchet strap on it and made it home. Found some spare bolts in my pile and threw em on with locktight. Hasn't happened since.

Bill, I still think you should just buy a YJ/TJ and drop your entire drivetrain/axles/suspension into it. Throw 37s on it and drive it on the road and go wheeling when you want, but not get the feeling that it's wasting away in your garage.

That's my plan. Dump all of my crap into a YJ (so I can pass emissions with the 440) and throw it on 37s. NH just has a bumper height law so as long as I'm under that I'm good.

I think it's 30" ground to bumper as long as it's a truck. I know my ZJ on 32's and 4.5" coils didn't technically pass. Probably won't be too bad to find someone that will pass it though.

Nice. How have those axles been?

Or... just drive it. Because its already street legal, registered and insured. If you want to dump the chassis, there is money in it. Someone will buy the chassis and swap their shit into it.

I told you only is we can do twinsies. :looney:

If you are talking to me there is no way I am parting it out. It would kill me inside and I just don't have the time. It is either going whole (doubting it) or I'll be keeping it forever.

Colin there's also a tire coverage law, you basicly need the full covered. Different areas are more/less strict. I wouldn't mind swapping my shit over to a clean 2dr shell. Keep it low on 37's or 40's

just slap some kiddie pools around the tires as fenders and it will be fine

got pulled over once in nh on my way home from f&f in my yj on 34's I assumed it was for safety stuff because when pulled and stopped behind me he then just took off once he saw the MA plates then turned down a road and turned his lights off

The pros use a C clamp. Seriously, it works great.

Finally dropping the Duster off to my uncle this weekend and getting my garage space back.

Have to drag the MJ out and make sure nothing is broken. Get it ready for next weekend.

Honestly I am fine with anything short of the really really dumb stuff heck even bunny level stuff if fine (like that even exists at F&F). I just want to keep it whole for RocktoberFest as I have no weekends to work on it between then and then.

It'll just be nice to hang out with folks.

We would just be really hungover, start late and do our own reds. But like a whole red not bail out halfway through a red like Bross.
