Yeah, I wanted to walk it but didn't get a chance. The reds did work, didn't pull any cable. Thinking of getting a suckdown winch setup for Rocktoberfest to help on large ledges

Why is it so hard to find an mj. Every one I have looked at in the past month has been..
A. ROTTED TO COMPLETE DEATH (one in particular ive been eyeing looks ok from afar but the bed and cab are about to be seperate from unibody rot)
B. BED COMPLETELY ROTTED
C. Sitting in some old mans backyard. (YEA Its been sitting back there for 13 yrs and hasnt run in 4 years but hes asking $4600)
D. Bought by some idiot on the trading post who got into the jeep fad for a day, chopped off all the fender flares and stuck bro mirrors and LIGHHHHT BARZZZ FOR DAZE on it.

didnt have a clue you had one for sale was it on craigslist? At this point i Think im going to find one out in arizona where my uncle lives. Ill probably have him go look at one for me then ill wire him the money and fly out there to drive it home. i dont even care if its a 2wd 4 cylinder as long as it has the notch to the fit the 4.0 and its rust free ill take it.
My boss had a mint 1991 HO 5 speed white mj. All it need was a new front diff (swapped in 4.10 axles). I should have bought it before he parted it out. Its probably like the biggest regret of my life. I loose sleep over it. sadly the only pic i have of i is from google maps....

Probably just not the area of the country to be looking- think of how poorly the newer XJ's hold up, then add less rust proofing technology and at least 6 years to the age. If it's going to be a long term or serious project, it might be worth shipping one from the Southwest.
