THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

How olds the starter? Make sure the oil filter adapter ain't leaking oil on it. Good way to kill a starter.

And who cares about brakes on a muscle car, I don't think they had em from the factory

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

I cannot imagine manual drum brakes all the way around being powered by a 440.

People were insane.
All cuz of those crazy Moonshiners.

Snowblower: acquired. 9.5hp Tecumseh powered Troy Bilt, 28" wide, hydrostatic track drive, electric start, heated grips... The only thing it doesn't have is powered chute turn. Needs some TLC but for $400, yes please. Nice to have this out of the way before everyone goes snow-prep crazy. I thought about getting something bigger but Nicole could operate this if she had to, and the price was right.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

You still need to buy either that dump truck or Chevy plow truck.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

Neither one this year. Maybe something next year. I need to buy something small and shiny before I get anything else big and greasy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

What kind of boat? There will be some even better deals in October. I like the idea of an older mid 30's ft long trawler. Enough space to live on for a week or two but still attainable and might actually be able to afford to use it. Low single digit GPH, but you're only going 6-9 knots.

I've thought about trying to get a junk sailboat for the lead keel but it sounds like an awful lot of work for a thousand pounds of lead.

Oh ya, no doubt. The deals around here usually stop around memorial day, pick back up around now. I can get a used ski for $1000-1500 right now, but I'd rather a boat even though skis are a blast.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

I think I'm gonna buy a boat this winter for next season. Already a lot of good deals out there.

I think I'll get a sex change this winter. Always wanted to be a man.

I'd change the title if I could, someone's slackin'

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

Meh, 2 or 3 posts without pictures doesn't warrant a change I don't think.
Hell my Jeep for sale thread has more boat content than that. Haha

The NAC Lots-O-Bill Ain't Billy enough for Billy boats Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Bill Ain't Billy enough for Billy boats Thread

Bill, I still think you should just buy a YJ/TJ and drop your entire drivetrain/axles/suspension into it. Throw 37s on it and drive it on the road and go wheeling when you want, but not get the feeling that it's wasting away in your garage.

That's my plan. Dump all of my crap into a YJ (so I can pass emissions with the 440) and throw it on 37s. NH just has a bumper height law so as long as I'm under that I'm good.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

That sucks Colin. Any of the bolts fall out? Try whacking the starter? Could just be not engaging all the way.

I'm dumb, forgot to put lock tight on after the last time this happened and the lower bolt is now gone, upper loosened up enough for it not to engage with the flywheel, got it all sorted.
