Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

Dave you still have that 97 5 speed ecu?

Ive got this weird hiccup going on at 2800-3000 rpm where it almost thinks thats the rev limiter. Just sitting in neutral I can rev it past 2800 fine but under load in every gear right when it hits 2800 it just cuts out and has no power till it drops back under 2800, sounds like its sucking air but nothing happens, then just bucks like crazy if I try to keep it around 3k. I can sometimes get it to go over by rev matching over 3k but cant figure out whats causing it.

Tried wheeling at some sand pits and couldn't make it over some easy hills because I would have to be in such a low gear so it wouldn't just cut out and bog down before the crest. Tried the tps but don't even know where to start.

Still got it if you want it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Peanut Butter thread

So I rebuilt the D44a in the 5.9 ZJ, I need to get about another half-turn out of the pinion nut to get the preload right, but the crush sleeve ain't crushing. I've gotten up to around 500 ft-lb on it so far and it's not moving.

Any stupid tricks I might not have thought of?
