3, with an extra main that has the eyes cut off, no overloads, got me ~4.5" lift IIRC

I think I will pull them apart and shove some Xj leafs in place my goal is around 2 inches of lift. How bad was the axle wrap?

I do remember they are 12" travel I believe, with the stiffer valving. But no, I never went back to my apartment last night so I didn't look through my receipts. I'm leaving work soon, so I'll check before I go out tonight.

Do you need longer coil springs? I have RE 4.5 and RE5.5 at home.
Rob is generously letting me snag his old coils. So I'm good there. But those shocks have my attention.

Anthony my lower limit strap mount is welded to my lower link tab.

No failures under my pig. Even racing. I used the same tabs you linked.

Sounds good. I'll add that to my next order.

Yesterday the leaf perch bolts gave me the typical amount of trouble. Came out of the nuts but got seized to bushings. I forgot how much fun that wasn't.

Sam, so that thing is still running well? No more sploded Chevy engines?

Like I'm the first to say something

I also forgot to mention that 3" of uptravel should be fine for road driving/wheeling. You're not doing anything high speed. I had ~4" IIRC on my XJ.

What hits first?

If my current shocks were valved properly for the weight of my jeep the 3" of up travel I have would be perfect

Just double up the shocks up front.

I pulled apart a 175 ton press today I feel accomplished.
Eyelet toolmaking is stupid. 175 tons of pressure and we have to use 10-32 grade 5 screws to hold it all together.
