Hmm, ok, well that's easy enough. I was planning on using Ruffstuff's kit. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/LIMITSTRAPS.html

Maybe it's overly simplified, but I was hoping to just weld those tabs wherever makes sense and call it a day?

My limit straps bolt to a factory bolt hole for the engine mounts for a 4cly and have a tab welded behind the lower shock mount. Strap is tucked in outta the way and jeepspeed guys have been using the same mount for years. You can also run a shorter strap there too

That's about the amount of uptravel I usually ran on my XJ's.

as for limit straps, I just weld tabs or 1/2" bolts wherever they fit. I try to keep them independent from other link mounts or shock mounts.

I do remember they are 12" travel I believe, with the stiffer valving. But no, I never went back to my apartment last night so I didn't look through my receipts. I'm leaving work soon, so I'll check before I go out tonight.

Do you need longer coil springs? I have RE 4.5 and RE5.5 at home.

Pat thanks for the post on the s10 leaf springs on pirate. If I red roll the centering pin hole 1inch forward will it cause any issues?
