THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

If you have much less than 1 part of gas to 14 parts of air your motor will fail sooner than normal. In the 70's there was the Pogue carburetor that had warming coils in the float bowl causing the fuel to expand before going through the jets.

That's much too general of a statement.

14.7:1 is the ideal stoichiometric mixture. That gets thrown right out the window depending on the motor, injection setup, and whole hell of a lot of other variables. For instance, since my injection is GM TBI style, it likes to idle around 13.8-14.0:1. And then under load/acceleration, I have it pulled down to 12.5:1.

You absolutely can go 15:1, 16:1, and even 17:1 while tuning for optimum cruise fuel economy (aka lighter loads, and usually 2-3k rpms). Again that depends on the motor.

Gas motors are dumb, turbo diesels run on 100 parts of awesome, 50 parts bro, and 50 parts black smoke.

Dude I know. Totes BA

He just emailed me back, 500 is a go. He said to plan on a tow bc he wouldn't recommend driving it. I love POSs! I need a couple things off of it and then it gets parted... Hopefully it has some nice lift parts underneath (it got like a 5" kit which is huge for these trucks) so I can make a good amount of cash on it.

So no 3 pedal swap for yours?

Patch/Steffy, your XJ is still haunting me. Got a bill from the city of New Haven, CT for taxes despite cancelling those plates and having sold the vehicle in June 2012.

Stefan, what year engine was in your 98? It looks like the harness is a pre 96.

Are dogs still ok to bring to f&f? Planning on bringing mine to rocktoberfest

As long as the play well with other dogs and you either have suburb control or a leash it seems to work fine. Only is a problem for people that don't leash and forget they have a dog for hours while it runs around terrorizing others and pooping all over.

We're not bringing Riley to Fall Crawl after last year but we will probably bring her to RocktoberFest.

You caught me at a good time. I don't think if checked this thread in over a week.

The engine. Was from a 96. But all my body shit computer etc was still original and 98. So I would think the harness should be a 98 still. I had a mechanic put the motor in so I guess I can't say for sure its still the factory harness.

I checked my tickets last night. According to them is a virtual event so I guess we are web wheeling?

What harness do you need?

I'm probably going to get rid of the 241OR next, no need for it to go into a bone stock wrangler really. Although the t-case in that thing might be hurting.

From what I've gathered our trails are chosen for us and we've been lucky in the past choosing our own. Really biting my tounge right now.
