Good, I like that better anyway.
Getting that way!
From what I've gathered our trails are chosen for us and we've been lucky in the past choosing our own. Really biting my tounge right now.
Wow.
For that kinda money they are charging I hope we're running Class VI roads.

Was that really someone's response? I can't see this ending well.

I think I need to blow up the motor in the truck, buy a focus, sell the jeep. Seems like a lot less bullshit

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I saw the post... wow. Just wow.

Seriously for the money they charge you should be able to pick the trail you want to go on. Since when (for any event) would someone want to show up and be told what to run? WTF is that?

Hi Travis! :spin1:

Cyl 3 exhaust valve is spent. Might as well do all 16.

No peformance work or anything. Just clean em up and make them seal.

Is that even worth your time/money? Can you just get a cheap set of good condition heads and slap them on?

What about from any of your other engines? Still have the heads?

Sold them because I'm a genius. I could get unknown condition heads for what I made on selling mine. Have to clean them up, etc. Reman heads are only $250 each. From what I understand hot tanking is cheap and a valve job isn't crazy either. I have never had either done though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I didn't shop around a bunch as my uncle knew someone that did good work and I didn't want any hack job doing it.

The guy cut new valve seats, put in new seals, installed the springs/valves that I provided, hot tanked the head, milled the surface a bit on both heads for $200. I laid a straight edge across the tops of the valves and they were all on the money (not that it matters a ton if they're off a bit...just goes to show his attention to detail/quality).

Not sure if I could get that deal again. I also had to wait about a week or two since he was doing it off-hours. If you're serious I can check.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I'm serious. There's a local shop by me that we used through work that I can always check too. But I'd rather have someone make my heads pretty and bolt them on than buy some used heads from Joe schmoe on the internet and hope they are good.

You caught me at a good time. I don't think if checked this thread in over a week.

The engine. Was from a 96. But all my body shit computer etc was still original and 98. So I would think the harness should be a 98 still. I had a mechanic put the motor in so I guess I can't say for sure its still the factory harness.
Hmm, Weird. Maybe they threw the harness in with the engine...? The injectors are definitely the early style connection style.
What harness do you need?

I'm probably going to get rid of the 241OR next, no need for it to go into a bone stock wrangler really. Although the t-case in that thing might be hurting.
No harnesses needed, thanks tho.

Class 5 whitewater rafting is awesome until your guide gets thrown from the boat and you go off 12' falls backwards

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Sam you wouldn't happen to have the PCM and harness from that burb still do you? I may be interested for a future swap..
