THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I would think that the switch will light up with a switched ground. It shouldn't mind what the polarity is.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Not necessarily true. Most LEDs use a diode and definitely do care about polarity.

If it uses an LED for the backlight then it probably won't work.

Been speaking with a dyno place over in Hudson NH (Granite State Dyno and Tune).

Probably going to take my MJ there in the next month or so and use their dyno to finally tune it now that I have the injector dead time worked out and aluminum heads on the thing.

$100/hr for me to just use the dyno and tune myself, vs. $450 for him to tune it. I'm sure the $450 is comparable to other shops, but I'm going to try tuning it myself. I'm only doing fuel, which is mostly automatically adjusted anyway, and then maybe play with some accel enrichment.

i have a similar switch for my fan. no way to get the led to work.

figured. i was thinking of maybe running a trigger wire from the relay to the switch to light the led? not sure, i'll try figure something out if its possible.

Heard nothing but great things with them, you gonna use rollers? Can't imagine you running the creepies

You guys are dumb, I have LED switches and they all work. Power to the switch, runs the LED and then activates a relay which switches between computer ground and regular ground. I have my aux fan and high idle like that.

SHUT UP WITH YOUR LED'S!!!!!

Tried almond milk this morning for the first time, not really that good. Not to be confused with Almon milk, which we all know is delicious.

so how is it wired? in my head i have one wire that is grounded, going to my switch, and one wire going to the ground on the relay to activate the fans. there is no 12v power in this situation. i am trying to override an ECU command that applies ground to the relay for the fans to turn on.

the k109 relay is the one i am talking about.

the one way that I can think of getting the LED to work with the fan is to have have the switch control a second relay which wlll act like x113 in your diagram by opening and closing a path to ground other that i dont think you will get the little led to work
