Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
he already bought the fan, so i tossed it in. he wanted to add that fan as a pusher WITH the old fan still in there. my buddy who has a 600+hp 440 68 cuda was looking it over with me saturday night. you'd probably get along with him colin . he thinks the best option is a mechanical fan, so thats next if this doesnt work. i figured you can just shut the fan off on the highway.
idk where the fuse box is, its probably buried underneath the birds nest of wiring. my plan was to start with what isnt working, pull the wires, and re-wire to fix. most important is the water temp gauge isnt moving, but it does light up. i probably knocked the sender wire loose somewhere. i'll check the ammeter thing, i know it has a full GT cluster but idk if it had one.
he wants to sell the car, but he isnt in a rush. i made a deal with him that if i fix it i get to cruise around with it. gonna be a tough sell i think, not a lot of people want a coupe. i'm a fastback guy myself.
rob, it's running a stat, not sure if there is a 160 or 180 in there. i think a 180. and when he says overheats, he says 200F. so its not super hot, but it is warm. he also drives it like a grandma.
